摘要：

China’s food system has undergone significant transformation over the past two decades, reflecting shifts in economic structure, regional specialization, and dietary patterns. Using multi‑regional input–output (MRIO) accounts for 2002, 2007, 2012, and 2017, this study quantifies value added across 42 industries, 13 food categories, and 34 provinces, encompassing 26 urban–rural food chains. Machine‑learning algorithms identify regions and industries that act as nexus hubs within these value chains, shaping the spatial and functional organization of the national food economy. These nexus points are coupled with probabilistic assessments of natural hazards and extreme weather events to simulate their impacts on food security and system resilience. The study further examines how changes in dietary patterns and the development of local food systems could shorten food chains, enhancing sustainability and reducing vulnerability. Together, the results provide a system‑level understanding of China’s food system under concurrent economic, climatic, and nutritional pressures.

裔静博士的研究驱动力源于对食物系统与食物安全的深厚好奇心——既致力于理解其动态，也致力于运用经济学方法、数据科学和机器学习来提高其效率、可持续性与恢复力。她的研究构建了综合性的量化分析框架，用以衡量食物系统如何在国内外价值链中创造附加值、利用自然资源以及创造就业机会。通过联结经济、环境和社会维度，她探索政策、市场力量和需求动态如何相互作用，共同塑造农业食物系统的效率、可持续性和恢复力。在加入威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校农业与应用经济系担任教职之前，裔静博士曾是康奈尔大学戴森应用经济与管理学院的研究助理。她的研究涵盖农业金融、风险管理、全球农业食物价值链、劳动力动态和食物价格，并专注于整合经济推理与数据驱动建模，以应对食物和农业领域的复杂挑战。
